The design for Apt 524 at The Sebel Noosa focused on creating a clean, innovative, and time-resistant space that maximised the potential of the one-bedroom open-plan apartment. We prioritised thoughtful details, sustainable materials, and durable finishes, ensuring the design would withstand the demands of the holiday market while remaining timeless in style.

Our goal was to craft a unique and luxurious experience for those staying in the space, offering a comfortable and relaxing haven when not at the beach. From concept to completion, we worked closely with our client to bring their vision to life within budget, balancing both practical and aesthetic needs.

The design took inspiration from Noosa’s surrounding landscape, focusing on creating warm, inviting spaces with a modern coastal feel. Materials were selected to endure the harsh Queensland elements while maintaining a sense of relaxed luxury. The apartment's foundation featured neutral tones in durable stone, porcelain, timber, and subtle wall colours, providing a timeless backdrop. Carefully selected accents in the form of accessories, artwork, soft furnishings, and bedding offered flexibility for future updates, all while complementing the natural tones of the apartment.

A key decision in the renovation was to retain the existing floor tiles and install a sustainable, cost-effective substrate over them. This choice minimised disruption, reduced construction time, and aligned with our design vision, achieving a luxurious, inviting space without compromising quality.

By combining quality materials with thoughtful design and a strong understanding of the local environment, RDS created a space where comfort and elegance coexisted, offering a timeless, elevated experience for both guests and residents alike.
