From the early stages of planning to construction support and styling, we’re with you every step of the way, ensuring the process is smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.
We approach each project with care and enthusiasm, offering a fresh perspective that blends creativity with practicality. With a wealth of experience across high-end residential, retail, and commercial design, we know how to deliver spaces that are functional, beautiful, and, most importantly, designed with you in mind.
Sophia Conley
DIRECTOR - LEAD DESIGNER
Sophia established Renegade Design Studio in 2016, driven by a vision to redefine coastal interior design with thoughtful, tailored solutions. Over the past nine years, while balancing raising a young family, she has nurtured Renegade into a studio renowned for crafting high-end residential and boutique commercial spaces that resonate with personality and purpose.
Sophia’s transparent and collaborative approach fosters deep connections with her clients, enabling her to translate their stories into curated, soul-stirring interiors. Her designs transcend fleeting trends, offering timeless, inviting spaces that genuinely reflect the lives of the people who inhabit them.
A childhood spent in architecturally rich environments, inspired by her creative parents, ignited Sophia’s passion for design and Architecture. Today, that passion is woven into every project, enhanced by a shared love for nature and landscape design with her husband Morgan. Her signature style—a harmonious blend of authenticity, warmth, and modern sophistication—continues to shape Renegade’s unique identity.
Away from the studio, Sophia recharges her creative spirit at her local pottery workshop, immersing herself in hands-on artistry that echoes her design ethos.

Morgan Cawley
GARDEN DESIGN & LANDSCAPING
Known for his calm and gentle nature, Morgan’s ability to connect with clients through clear, prompt communication sets him apart. His approachable demeanour fosters trust and ensures a seamless design process, creating landscapes that truly resonate with his clients' visions.
With years of experience designing contemporary native gardens across Noosa, Morgan has earned a reputation for crafting outdoor spaces that harmonise with the local environment. His work reflects a profound respect for the land and a talent for creating landscapes that inspire and enhance the way people live.
After taking time away to focus on his and Sophia's growing young family, Morgan has rejoined the Renegade fold. His return marks a renewed commitment to integrating interior and landscape design, ensuring every project feels holistic and complete—inside and out.
Bri Biden
DESIGN COORDINATOR
Brianna Biden is the heart and soul behind Renegade Design Studio’s operations and studio management, seamlessly blending her wealth of interior design experience with her role as Design Coordinator. With a deep passion for design and a background in furniture, object, and art curation, Bri brings a distinctive touch to every project, ensuring the final layers of design are thoughtful, intentional, and perfectly aligned with the studio’s vision. Her expertise in sourcing and curating bespoke pieces elevates each project, creating spaces that feel truly unique and complete.
Bri’s role is the backbone of our studio, overseeing the client journey and managing day-to-day operations with care and precision. Acting as a vital link between our design team, clients, and suppliers, she ensures every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Her empathetic and collaborative nature fosters a supportive environment where creativity flourishes and clients feel valued.
Beyond the studio, Bri and her husband, Jack, have embraced farm life, enjoying the simplicity of caring for their cattle with their loyal Kelpie, Snags. Whether coordinating complex operations or enjoying time outdoors, Bri’s optimistic and thoughtful approach defines everything she does, making her an irreplaceable part of the Renegade team.
Kate McLean
SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Kate McLean joined RDS in 2023 and has quickly established herself as an integral member of the team, celebrated for her creative vision and exceptional communication skills. With an innate ability to bring concepts to life and meticulous attention to detail, Kate transforms ideas into beautifully resolved spaces that clients trust and admire.
Her passion for design began in childhood, inspired by exploring open homes and observing how spaces could evoke emotion. This early curiosity evolved into a career marked by strong product knowledge, thoughtful organisation, and a knack for simplifying complex decisions.
Kate is known for her methodical and structured process, ensuring each project flows seamlessly while no detail is overlooked. She creates spaces that not only reflect individuality but also achieve a balance of functionality and beauty. Clients value her ability to guide them through the design journey with patience and clarity, resulting in spaces that feel both cohesive and personal.
When she’s not designing, Kate recharges outdoors, enjoying beach days with her Kelpie, Kiewa, or savouring a margarita at her favourite local Mexican spot.

Olivia Gec
SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Olivia Gec joined RDS in 2021 after relocating from Brisbane to Noosa. As an integral member of our design team, Liv’s journey with Renegade has been defined by her passion, dedication, and natural talent for design. Olivia’s creative fingerprints are seen in iconic projects like Witta Circle and Toscani, Sayers Home and most recently our The Lakes House major renovation, showcasing her ability to deliver thoughtful, layered interiors. Known for her calm and considered approach, Olivia excels in creating spaces that feel both intentional and effortless. Her background in Graphic Design lends her a sharp eye for visual communication and technical precision, which she pairs with her signature focus on flow and simplicity. At the heart of her work is a commitment to crafting spaces that resonate deeply with individuality, ensuring each design reflects the unique personality and lifestyle of its occupants.
Olivia thrives on exploring the cutting edge of design, drawing inspiration from industry innovators and embracing sustainable materials to push creative boundaries. Outside the studio she continues to express her creativity through pottery and art, always experimenting with new techniques. She also finds joy in camping adventures with her young family, reconnecting with nature and recharging her design inspiration.
