Effortless Luxury, Reimagined

Positioned on the grassed corner of tightly held Noosa Crest, Apartment 27 enjoys one of the most enviable locations within the complex—an elevated yet grounded connection to the landscape, with uninterrupted views across Laguna Bay.

This three-bedroom apartment underwent a complete gut renovation. While previously updated, the space lacked warmth, character and cohesion. The new owners sought to transform it into a premium holiday retreat—one that would appeal to discerning repeat holidaymakers, while also functioning seamlessly as a true home away from home for their family visiting from Sydney.

The design response is calm, layered and timeless. A clean yet warm palette was curated, combining natural timbers and stone with classic white VJ doors and panelling. Subtle soft greens and greige tones flow throughout the apartment, grounding the interiors and reinforcing a relaxed coastal sensibility without feeling overtly themed.

“The result is an apartment that exudes effortless luxury—defined not only by its rare position and seamless connection to the lawn and ocean beyond, but by its quiet confidence in materiality, spatial flow and styling. A relaxed, refined retreat designed to be lived in, returned to, and remembered.” - Sophia

Key to the design was the reinterpretation of the entry partition wall. Rather than a solid barrier, the wall was redesigned to incorporate a bookcase and object display, creating a moment of arrival while shielding the back of the entry door from the living space. Selective use of fluted glass further softens transitions—obscuring direct views, enhancing privacy, and forming a more intimate dining zone while maintaining openness and light. Throughout, sightlines are carefully considered to consistently frame the apartment’s most valuable asset: its extraordinary outlook.
