Set in one of the most sought-after positions in Quamby Place Noosa, Apartment 31 is a premium North-facing holiday retreat that has undergone a complete renovation, transforming it into a sanctuary of modern coastal elegance. Stripped back to its core, the apartment was thoughtfully reimagined with meticulous planning and design execution to maximise space and elevate the experience.

Our Melbourne-based clients, drawn to the unique vibe of Renegade Design Studio, were clear about their vision: to create a ‘minimal’ aesthetic that balanced the highest quality fixtures and finishes with practicality and durability. As a high-turnover luxury holiday apartment, it was essential that the design not only exuded sophistication but also withstood the demands of family life and frequent guest use.

The renovation involved a significant reconfiguration of the apartment’s layout. The original single bathroom was transformed into two functional bathrooms, enhancing the flow and convenience of the space. A more expansive galley-style kitchen replaced the previous layout, making it the heart of the home and creating an open, spacious feel throughout. Every detail was meticulously considered to make the apartment feel larger and more luxurious while working within the constraints of its existing dimensions.

The design incorporates a refined coastal palette with soft neutral tones, warm timber accents, and durable materials that evoke a sense of tranquility. Custom joinery solutions were seamlessly integrated to maximise storage, while bespoke lighting and furniture pieces complement the minimalistic aesthetic.

Apartment 31 now stands as a testament to purposeful design, blending style and functionality in perfect harmony. The result is a timeless space that offers an unforgettable Noosa experience, with a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere that caters to both personal stays and high-end holiday letting.
