The brief was to create a destination skincare and wellness store, with clean lines, plenty of storage, and to draw inspiration from the orangeries of France. The design team created a stunning concept and project managed the build. The arch which is an important architectural element in orangeries, is repeated throughout the space bringing an elegance and sophistication to the design. The outside is brought inside through the use of natural materials and the addition of custom planter boxes. The design also incorporates a number of sustainable features, designed to reduce energy consumption inline with the store ethos.
The design was beautifully executed by a local construction team, Coloquhoun Enterprises, along with a group of local trades and artisans.
