Renegade Design Studio is a close-knit, design-led practice in Noosa, committed to creating beautiful, functional spaces that genuinely enrich our clients’ lives. We are now seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Architectural Designer to join our team, either in a permanent or long-term subcontract capacity. This is a hands-on role working across dynamic, high-end residential and selected commercial projects — from early concept through to detailed documentation and on-site support. You’ll be trusted with whole projects, supported by a highly engaged team, and encouraged to grow within a studio that values balance, integrity, and design excellence.

Renegade Design Studio (RDS) is seeking a talented Designer with a passion for high-end residential projects to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone with a minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role, who thrives in a creative and collaborative studio environment. We looking to fill a subcontract position as well as an in house position.

About Us

RDS is a boutique, multidisciplinary design firm based in Noosa, known for crafting unique and inspiring spaces. Our projects span high-end residential, commercial, and holiday homes, with a strong focus on quality, detail, and functionality.

The Role

With a key member of our team stepping out to have a baby, this role will see you diving straight in and working across all project stages, from concept development to construction documentation. You will collaborate closely with our design team, clients, consultants, and suppliers to deliver exceptional design solutions. As you will be stepping in to replace a key member of our design team during her maternity leave, proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Enscape is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present high-end residential design concepts.

  • Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications using Revit.

  • Create 3D visualisations and presentations with SketchUp and Enscape.

  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to bring designs to life.

  • Research and source materials, finishes, and furnishings.

  • Manage administration across multiple projects, deadlines, and client expectations effectively.

About You

  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience in high-end residential interior design.

  • Highly proficient in Revit, SketchUp, and Enscape.

  • Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for detail and materials.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively.

  • Experience producing construction documentation and schedules.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to design challenges.
